Professional Experience:
1-Isfahan University of Technology, Research Laboratory of 1990-1993
Computer Architecture and Microprocessors.
Research assistant in computer hardware and microprocessor-based systems.
I designed a digital multimeter and an EPROM-programmer using Z80
microprocessor and a data-acquisition card ( including A/D and D/A converter
and timer/counter equipment ) for IBM/PC-AT computers.
2-Amirkabir University of Technology, Elect. Eng. Dep. 1995-1999
Teacher assistant in some undergraduate courses such as microprocessors
and digital circuits.
3-Pars Arvin Co. Ltd., Isfahan, Iran. 1992-1993
Research Engineer in design and manufacture of a computer-based
Weighting system. I designed and manufactured a 16-channel industrial
weighting system using a compensated load-cell bridge under a central computer
and 16x8086 microprocessor cards control.
Research:
Research Area:
Discrete-time signal processing, Speech analysis, Speech of hearing-impairedand cochlear implantation, Psychophysics and psychoacoustics of speech and hearing, Hearing theories and the auditory feedback effects on speech production process.
Research Experience: 1996-2002
research engineer in institute of hearing research and cochlear implant clinic ofTehran university of medical sciences and Amiralam hospital. We studied the speech productionof prelingually-deaf cochlear implant pediatrics and the effects of auditory feedback on somestatic and dynamic features of their speech. My supervisor was Prof. M.H.Khalesi, otolaryngologistand head of otolaryngology department of Tehran university of medical sciences. Most of our patientswere used the NUCLEUS devices but some of them also used the CLARION prosthesis
