The Electrical Machines I laboratory at the Isfahan University of Technology is a well-equipped laboratory for both teaching and research activities. The purpose of this lab is to give students hands-on experience in AC and DC machines.
The main objectives of the electrical machines lab II are as below:
- To learn about major types of AC generators (including three-phase synchronous and induction generators),
- To study the main characteristics of AC generators,
- To learn about major types of AC motors (including three-phase synchronous motors, single-speed, and variable speed induction motors, and variable poles IMs),
- To study the main characteristics of AC motors
- To study three-phase transformers parameter identification and testing with three-phase resistive – capacitive, balanced and unbalanced loads
